Sunrise Surf PleinAir2024This was a fun piece to work on since I wanted to see how I could use the foil to capture movement and waves were the perfect subject. I've also joked that this is probably the closest I've come to contemporary art. The loose brushstrokes and bold color and textures really made it a blast to paint! 8x10, oil on wood panel

A close friend and fellow Seattle transplant commissioned this piece as a way to remember the connection to his hometown

This was a museum that came highly recommended to me by my sister and it happened to be the perfect place to spend an afternoon
