Group portrait of three men ... Special OrdersGroup portrait of three men and three boys sitting on a rock in the village of Jehaf in the northern region of Ad Dali' Governorate. Behind the group is a grove of trees and a large square building which is two storeys tall and has white framed windows. Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.

In the distance on the far right trees and buildings line a far shore

with tall houses either side

Just behind them a few camels saddled with camel litters wait to be unloaded

which rises to a crest in the central distance

an older Arab man with a grey beard

also know as the Asiatic Wild Dog or Red Dog

as it was first described by Alfred Maudslay in his seminal publication of the Quirigua site in his multi-volume Archaeology (1889-1902)
