Robert French meets Anthony Johnson (Vinyl LP) Acid JazzAcid Jazz subsidiary Roots Records have reissued Robert French and Anthony Johnsons 1984 collaboration album. Produced by Jah Thomas, the album was recorded at the legendary Channel One Recording studio in Kingston, Jamaica, with the reputed Roots Radics Band. It includes Johnsons fabulous take on Sitting In The Park and Frenchs protest song No War. A must have reissue for reggae, roots and dancehall collectors, the LP was remastered by Nick Robbins

and the Head Hunters record has truly been worn out with how many times I’ve listened to it since I can remember
