Asprey & Co 11-Piece Sterling Silver Vanity Set In Crocodile Leather Case, c.1940 ArtA stunning Asprey & Co 11 piece sterling silver dressing table set in a fine fitted crocodile leather suitcase retailed by J. W. Robinson Co, Los Angeles. All pieces are fully hallmarked for Asprey & Co Ltd, 1940, save one scent bottle which is dated 1939. The dressing table set comprises of: 3 x powder cream pots; 3 x scent bottles; 2 x rectangular brushes; 2 x paddle brushes; and 1 x mirror. Each silver piece has remnants of the original gilt and

being of excellent colour

there are some small losses commensurate with age but overall the stationary box remains in a very good and original condition

Both decanters retain all original numbered elements

The whole is surrounded by a foliate border
