Pico Della Mirandola Barolo 1977 Port1977 was not a great vintage for the region, however at a recent tasting (September 2022) this wine showed well. Typical blend, Nebbiolo. 75 cl bottle. Abv 12. 5% Bottle condition, wax capsule chipped, label good, wine level into neck.

2017 was a good vintage for the Maconaise

An amazing bottle that outperformed expectations and held its own next to its ‘89 LB brother at Keens

The top wines have lasted well

but not in the same class as 1982

with an intense dark grapiness (a lower note than the ‘89)

Wine makes a fantastic gift
